Chats continue on possible Cbus to Chicago railway

Chicago weekenders can somewhat easily make the six-hour drive from Columbus to the windy city, but talks are continuing to make that ride a little faster. A train connecting Chicago and Columbus could be constructed in the future and last week both the City of Columbus and City of Marysville said they would continue looking at how possible it would be to create such a train. They are moving on through the steps to actually create the connection. “Creating another transportation link from Columbus to Chicago is important for our region’s economic future,” Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman, said according to Columbus Underground. The railway would take about 3 hours 45 minutes to 4 hours to finish the trip and would have 11 stops.
