CoGo’s first years struggles for riders, still snags sponsorship

CoGo, like most bike-sharing programs nationwide, has struggled to maintain steady riders and members, but its first year has also seen the expansion of the program and a sponsor from Medical Mutual. According to the Dispatch, the ideal amount of riders would be 900 a day for its 300 bikes, but those numbers don’t take into account the differing markets that bike-sharing systems are in. While CoGo hasn’t hit those averages, the company has still snagged a sponsorship, which could be vital, and seems to be on the upward swing.
