Blind Lady Tavern opens in former Jury Room space

The former Jury Room / former Balls / former 1831 Tavern is now open again…as the Blind Lady Tavern.

Former owners sold the 22 East Mound Street space in July and 1831 Tavern closed its doors. Now the doors have swung open again to serve the downtown masses.

The drink menu is lined with a selection of classic and specialty cocktails including beverages with names acknowledging the property’s past. Belly up to the bar and order a Jury Room or an 1831. (Apparently no one believed that customers…no matters how thirsty they are…would order a Balls drink.)
