Hollywood Casino adding second patio for smokers
Less than one year ago, the Hollywood Casino Columbus opened an outdoor gaming patio for their smoking gamblers. Clearly it’s been a success because they’re about to open another.
Hollywood is shelling out some solid cash…$700,000…to build a second outdoor spot for the smoking clientele. The casino is realizing that it’s worth it to make such an investment to keep the smokers happy, even if special accommodations need to be created. It’s all in an effort to keep the slot machine dollars rolling in while remaining in compliance with Ohio’s indoor smoking ban.
The new area will be 2,000 square-feet in size and include 71 slot machines. The patio is expected to open next month. (jj)
