Metal shavings, it’s what’s for dinner
Over the weekend, Kraft Foods announced that it’s recalling 242,000 cases of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese (original flavor). Why? Because several of those boxes have pieces of metal in them. At least eight incidents have been reported, but no injuries have occurred and Kraft is advising people to return the boxes to stores for full refunds. (deb)

- Boxes with “best when used by” dates from Sept. 18 to Oct. 11, 2015
- Marked with the code “C2”
- 7.25 ounce boxes, sold individually and in packs of three, four, and five
