No Ebola case at Grant Medical Center
Contrary to earlier reports, a woman being treated at Grant Medical Center is NOT being tested for Ebola.
The woman (recently having returned from a trip to Sierra Leone) reported her symptoms early Monday and Columbus Fire Department paramedics took her to Grant Medical Center for treatment. An intersection near Grant was shut down and used as a decontamination center.
Officials believe that her systems were caused by something other than Ebola.
The Columbus Public Health department says that the woman remained overnight at Grant and will be reevaluated today. (jj)
