With new system, it’ll be easy e-citation

In an effort to “boost efficiency and accuracy” the Ohio State High Patrol has started using a new system that issues electronic versions of traffic citations. The OSP took more than a year testing it and spent $735,000 installing printers in 1,350 Highway Patrol cruisers. Basically, the OSP hopes the e-citations will cut down on human intake error and the time spent on issuing citations. So when you get pulled over, it’ll now take about four to six minutes for that officer to write you up.
