Columbus Crew announces stadium naming rights

The Columbus Crew will make an announcement today at 10AM about Crew Stadium’s naming rights. Crew Stadium, known for being the first US soccer-specific stadium, was built in May 1999. Today, its officials will hold a name changing ceremony (which you can watch live). It’s speculated that the new name comes as part of a partnership with a Spanish insurance company, but since nothing official has been revealed, it’s still unknown what the new name might be. (deb)
