US Chamber of Commerce recognizes Crimson Cup Coffee

Big news for Crimson Cup Coffee: the US Chamber of Commerce just named the Columbus-based coffee roasters a regional finalist for its Dream Big: Small Business of the Year Award.

“Can’t say it enough… we are so proud to be able to do what we do every day to help create a positive impact on everyone we reach,” wrote the coffee roasters in a post on Facebook.

According to the awards website, small businesses are evaluated on four criteria: “business strategy; staff training and motivation; customer service; and community involvement.”

Crimson Cup was founded by Greg Ubert in 1991 and roasts more than 500,000 pounds of coffee each year, distributing its product to 29 states and 350 independent coffee houses.
