Spearheaded by Executive Director of Healthcare Transformation at Ohio Health Group and First Lady, Shannon Ginther,  the commission works to improve the economic lives of it’s women community members and level the playing field for those seeking better work conditions.

“I was thrilled by the tremendous response from our community and the overwhelming desire to partner in this work to help truly improve the economic well-being of women in this community.  The people we have selected will work together to recommend solutions, build partnerships and be advocates to create change for women,” said Ginther.

Among the big names registered to the commission, there’s Nicol Ghazi in the Co-Op, Administrator of Muslim Family Services and Iris Harvey in Corrections, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio.
