Downtown restaurant The Chintz Room closes

Downtown restaurant The Chintz Room, located in the old Lazarus building, announced on Facebook today it would be closing after a year and a half in business.

The menu was populated by sandwiches and pizzas for lunch, with the addition of entrées for dinner, though its main draw was the quirky addition of drag shows on weekends over brunch.

The restaurant is hosting one last drag show this Sunday July 31 at noon, doors at 11 a.m.
