Pig out at Ohio Bacon Fest!
You read that right. One of America’s favorite delicacies is getting its own festival, right here in Columbus.
Ohio Bacon Fest is back for the second year, taking over Columbus Commons with veritable mountains of crispy, savory, fried goodness.
On Friday, September 9, local food trucks and restaurants will show off their most inspired, one-of-a-kind bacon creations to the capital city for the chance to be crowned the king of pig.
The festival is the brainchild of Mike Gallicchio, who is the creator of other huge Columbus festivals like Park Street Fest and the Columbus Food Truck Festival.
Entertainment includes live music, competitions featuring local celebrity judges and a bacon-eating contest. Plus, kids age 6 and under get in free!
