It’s Huntin’ Season, Folks

If you like chicken that tastes like grass and river water, then you’re in luck, because Ohio just released over 15,000 ring-necked pheasants in over 20 public areas for hunting, according to NBC4i.

There’s a hunting limit of two male birds per bag, but that’s ok because the average size of the bird is almost 3 pounds, according to National Geographic. So that’s an average of six pounds of gamey weird-looking chicken.

If you want to start teaching your kids one of humanities oldest traditions, youngsters under the age of 17 can start hunting for wabbit, pheasant, and any other legal game starting Oct. 22-23 and Oct. 29-30.
