Task force looks into legalizing weed

A task force made up of politicians, doctors, lawyers and cops are looking into the legalization of medical pot for state House Republicans.

The group includes Jimmy Gould, who was a financial backer of Responsible Ohio, which pushed for recreational weed legalization only months ago. He and others believe starting with medical pot and moving from there is a better way to approach legalization.

The team hopes to finish its research by the end of March.
