Road closures and parking for Cap City Half Marathon
The Capital City Half Marathon goes down tomorrow, and even if you’re not registered to run, you should know how to get around the streets that will be closed!
The following roads will be closed from Friday evening until the end of the race.
- High Street between Rich Street and Broad Street (Closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday)
- Town Street between S. 3rd Street and the Columbus Commons garage entrance (Closed 5 p.m. Friday to 4 p.m. Saturday)
- State Street between S. High Street and S. 3rd Street (Closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday)
- Front Street between W. Town Street and W. Mound Street (Closed from 6 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday)
Though participants are encouraged to carpool or take the bus to mitigate traffic congestion, preferred parking is available at the Columbus Commons underground parking garage at 191 South Third Street and the Columbus Commons main garage at 55 east Rich Street for $5.50.
