It’s Really Happening — Driverless Cars in Ohio

According to WVXU, starting next month you could start seeing self-driving cars in the Buckeye State. This comes after the state has made a concerted effort to push itself as a willing partner to car manufacturers.

Intel is investing $250 million to push the robot car market forward and many manufacturers are expected to be producing self-driving cars by 2020 — meanwhile Ohio is busy at work crafting unique legislation for this automatic-automobiles. We’d be one of seven states and D.C. to push laws.

Our neighbors to the east have had self-driving cars and can even get a self-driving uber. The specifics of the tests are expected in December.
