Road closures for Race for the Cure
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is happening downtown this weekend, so be prepared for waves of pink on the streets.
The 5K race begins on Front Street just south of Long Street, and ends on High Street just north of Columbus Commons.
All roads along the race route will be closed at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday morning, but some roads will close early.
- Broad Street between High and Third Streets will close at 6 p.m on Friday
- High Street between Broad and Town will close at 5 a.m. on Saturday
- Front Street between Broad and Spring will close at 5 a.m. on Saturday
One hundred percent of net proceeds of Race for the Cure goes to the Susan G. Komen Mission.
