Hat trick scores Jackets a win, fan a puppy
Good news for a young fan of the Blue Jackets: at last night’s game against the Montreal Canadiens forward Cam Atkinson scored a hat trick, securing the Jackets a 5-2 win and the fan, a puppy.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Jackets.
During the pregame warmup the little girl held a sign that read “Dad said if ‘13’ scores on my birthday, we get a dog.”
“We’ll see how generous her dad is,” Atkinson told the Columbus Dispatch.
