If ending the Cleveland Cavelier’s 52-year draught doesn’t make you sportsperson of the year, then I don’t know what would.

Thankfully, Sports Illustrated has honored LeBron James’ enormous feat and successful career with their best honor, according to an AP article at NBC4i.

James and Tiger Woods are the only two-time winners Sportsperson of the Year.

James said in an interview with the NBA that the award was, for him, a chance to bring pride and joy to his beloved city of Cleveland and his family.
