The Magnificent Seven: The Buckeye’s Seven 2016 Team Captains

The Buckeyes have named the seven players that will eventually and hopefully lead them to victory for the 2016 season.

Earlier this year, Urban Meyer named Jr. QB J.T. Barrett, Sr. Center Pat Elflein & Jr. Linebacker Raekwon McMillan as captains after their Fiesta Bowl victory.

On Friday, four additional players were chosen by team vote, joining the original Urban Meyer captain picks. These captains are:

• Fifth-year senior linebacker Joe Burger, from Cincinnati’s LaSalle High School
• Fourth-year junior cornerback Gareon Conley, from Massillon Washington High School
• True junior defensive end Tyquan Lewis, from Tarboro (N.C.) High School
• Fourth-year junior offensive guard Billy Price, from Austintown Fitch High School
