The Superior Beverage Group site has been bought out through a joint venture to be redeveloped for apartments.

Scott Pickett, Mike Schiff, Jason Snyder and Brian Barker bought the building and its 8 acres for $7.38 million, according to Columbus Business First, and they plan to build around 250 to 280 units.

The acres are located along the Olentangy River and Ingleside Avenue, making it a possibility for for-sale homes to be developed as well. Construction will take about 18 months.

Superior Beverage, a wine and beer distributor, has not announced where their new offices and distribution center would be located.
