CEOs of COTA and Columbus Airports retiring

Iron your slacks and polish that resume, people, because two very prestigious command positions in Columbus just became available. Both the CEO of COTA and the CEO of Columbus airports will retire this year.

W. Curtis Stitt who has served as the president and CEO of COTA for the past 18 years. Stitt’s said in a press release that he is very proud of what COTA has achieved during his time of service. And he certainly should be. Among a long list of achievements in the last 18 years, Stitt’s has lead the voyage to implementing CBUS, the free downtown circulator bus.

Elaine Roberts, has been with the Columbus Regional Airport Authority for 17 years. She controlled the reigns during the 2003 merger of Port Columbus and Rickenbacker airport. A nationwide pursuit for her successor began Tuesday.
