In a dreamy fusion of Nashville style fried chicken and street pizza, Hot Chicken Takeover and Mikey’s Late Night Slice bring Columbus their exclusive and charitable project back for another year.
Hot Mikey’s Takeover Pizza is exactly what it sounds like, and it’ll probably the best fusion food you’ll have in awhile – not to mention that for every slice you cram into your mouth, both HCT and LNS donate a diaper to the Columbus Diaper Bank for needy families.
HCT and LNS’ efforts come after the announcement of Columbus Kindness Month, where businesses and Columbus-ites are encouraged to donate to charity and perform random small acts of kindness.
In celebration of this month, both eateries will be throwing a special exclusive pizza party for a group on those less fortunate.
In the mean time, LNS in downtown Columbus will be having a kick-off event for the franken-pizza Feb. 21, and tickets include all you can eat pizza and drink tickets for Rhinegeist beer.
What a delicious way to help your fellow citizen.
