Motorcycle accident leaves one person in life-threatening condition

Columbus Police say that a motorcycle accident this morning sent the driver to the hospital in life-threatening condition. No other vehicles were involved. The wreck happened near the intersection of Worthington Woods Blvd. and Deer Creek Drive and was reported around 3 a.m.

Last year, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported 200 fatal motorcycle accidents. Motorcyclist in this state are not required to wear helmets if they are older than 18 years of age.
