Central Ohio Music Legend Dies on New Year’s Eve

Bruno Masdea, Central Ohio music icon and former big band leader of the Bruno Masdea Big Dance Band, died New Year’s Eve.

The Rick Brunnetto Big Band gave him a social media farewell that attributed his engineering career during the Korean War and his trumpet skills.

Masdea, 88, is  survived by his wife, Louise Masdea, of 65 years.
