Tomorrow is Earth Day. Even if you’re more of an inside person or have spit your gum out on the sidewalk once your twice, you can still celebrate how amazing our planet is. If for you that means opening up the windows tomorrow instead of running the AC, do your thing, we appreciate you. If you’re trying to really get some good mother nature juju going, check out these events happening around the city this weekend:

Earth Day Columbus 2017 Celebration

Sat, April 22 1 p.m.- 2 a.m.

The entire city is welcomed to the Columbus Commons for a free Earth Day celebration! There will be food trucks, kids activities, eco-friendly artisans, yoga, and local libations. Stay late for the afterparty at Brothers Drake.

Columbus Basshead Earth Day Cleanup #dropbassnotwaste

Sat, April 22 9 a.m.- noon

Calling all Columbus Bassnectar fans, music lovers, and people who care about the Olentangy Trail. This group will be teaming up with Balanced Yoga and the community of Clintonville to rid the trail of the rubbish it has been tainted with. Afterwards, wind down with some yoga in the Park of Roses.

Celebrate Earth Day with Late Night Slice

Sat, April 22 3- 5 p.m.

Fill up a provided trash bag with everything that doesn’t belong to mother nature. Free pizza afterwards to commend people for caring for earth.

Earth Day Celebration Brunch!

Sun, April 23 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.

For all those that thought really hard about joining a roadside clean up crew on Earth Day but couldn’t get themselves off the couch. Head over to Platform Beer Co to hear about all the good your friends did the day before. They’ll be serving up delicious vegan food so at least you won’t be contributing to livestock CO2 emissions!

Earth Day Planting

Sat, April 22 3- 6 p.m.

Roll up your sleeves because you are going to be beautifying the earth. Bring your gloves because you’ll getting down and dirty with a bunch of gorgeous dirt. If you arrive early, you’ll get some seed starters to take home.
