With one of the happiest days of the year approaching, you can find Joe Peppercorn emulating Morrissey’s croon and Chris Forbes jangling on his rickenbacker a la Johnny Marr. Because who needs chocolate and teddy bears when you can listen to “There is a Light That Never Goes Out”

Tonight at Rumba Cafe for $5 you can bask in the angst with the rest of Columbus during a Smiths cover show.

Valentines Day For the Miserable will feature the songs of The Smiths for the entire night, and there will be no opener with a $5 cover. Headmasters include, Jon Beard (The Randys), Chris Forbes (Winter Makes Sailors), Keith Hanlon (Bloodthirsty Virgins) and Joe Peppercorn (The Whiles, The Beatles Marathon)
