Adam Henry is the glassblower behind Instagram’s @sunshine_wolf_. He’s been into art since he was in 1st grade when all the other kids would gather around to watch him draw Buggs Bunny. Today, art means much more to Adam than simply impressing his peers with cartoon rabbit renderings. “I’ve come to know that creating art offers much more and fulfills a deep human need to communicate, or relate to others. More precisely, it allows one to project their inner thoughts and feelings into the exterior world in a way that can be absorbed by other people. The act of doing so, is extremely gratifying to me, especially when I can tell a person really resonates with the message of the piece, rather than the physical piece itself. When I am creating a piece I’m very conscious throughout the whole process, of what kind of feelings I’m trying to convey. Finding something worth while to say has proved to be the most difficult part of the whole process. I love the way art can say so many things at once, and how it can insight discussion, or even a debate! It truly is magical how people respond to art as individuals and as a collective.”

“At the end of the day, I love what I do, and I consider myself immensely fortunate for that. The drive to succeed and turn my passion into my career has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember. The more I work towrds that, the more possible it seems. I feel like I’ve already come so far as an artist, even in just the last 5 years. It would be impossible for me to stop, my momentum is too great. Besides, I’m having way too much fun to want to stop now anyway.”
