#InstaArt Lynn Hetherington turns human bodies into works of art

Lynn Hetherington owns a studio in Columbus where she uses human bodies as her canvases. She transforms chemo patients’ heads into beautiful crowns, she turns pregnant bellies into colorful mandalas, and even made a three-year-old look like a very convincing grandmother. Read Lynn’s story below and then follow her on Instagram.

I am a painter. I decided to add face painting to my services and that transitioned into full body painting. I had several clients asking me for henna, as well, so I decided to add henna to my body art services. I started with hands, arms, and feet and then moved to other areas of the body. I began doing free henna crowns for chemo patients after seeing pictures of henna crowns that a friend had forwarded to me. I now offer henna for all areas of the body including free crowns for chemo patients and prenatal belly bumps.

I continue to do free henna crowns for chemo patients. The strength and beauty of these women is amazing. If you’re in the Columbus area and you or someone you know is a chemo patient and would like a free henna crown please contact me. This is a free service I’m offering to help make your day a bit brighter.
