After more than five months of anticipation, Cameron Mitchell’s latest restaurant concept in the Short North will be opening this month.
698 High Street will be transformed into Harvey and Ed’s, an upscale version of a traditional deli.
Cameron Mitchell Restaurants describes the ambiance of the place as rustic yet contemporary. Harvey & Ed’s will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
There will be deli counter for carryout orders as well as seating options for about 140 guests.
Here are a few things slated to appear on the menu:
- chopped liver
- potato latkes
- popular deli sandwiches
- house smoked fish towers
- range of chef-inspired entrees

“At CMR, we are always looking to introduce innovative culinary delights and unique dining experiences to Ohioans and visitors to our food-centric city,” said David Miller CMR President. “Harvey & Ed’s will be a restaurant unlike anything currently available in the state of Ohio; a modern approach to re-defining the delicatessen of yesterday. We can’t wait to share this new concept with the community here.”
