Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream is stronger than ever with loads of sweet news

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams was faced with adversity and gave it two right hooks of brambleberry crisp. Then it stepped on adversity’s throat and whispered, “Suck it, adversity, I’m expanding AND adding new flavors.” After the two listeria hangups in the last two years, Jeni’s is coming out of the rubble on top, stronger than ever. The ice creamery has expanded into St. Louis and Los Angeles, and a store is set to open in Washington, D.C., later this year.

But wait, there’s more sweet news.

More fresh flavors are available for your licking pleasure this summer. Welcome the newbies: Yazoo Sue with Rosemary Bar Nuts, Cream Puff, Sweet Cream Biscuits with Peach Jam, Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk, Hot Toddy Sorbet, and Goat Cheese with Red Cherries. Take a peek at a few of them featured on the “What’s New” page on Jeni’s website.

No illnesses were every linked to the listeria outbreaks. The FDA has officially buttoned up the issues and Jeni’s is forging ahead at full steam. New things are being announced pretty much all the time so follow Jeni’s Facebook page and Instagram to stay on top of all the cool, creamy happenings.
