Pursuit of Pappy: Lottery for elusive liquor ends tomorrow

Good news: There is Pappy Van Winkle Kentucky bourbon available in the great state of Ohio.

Bad news: You have to win the right to buy it.

You have until 11:59pm tomorrow to enter into a lottery to win the right to purchase a bottle of the elusive liquor.

Applications are available online and at Contract Liquor Agencies.

If you’re selected, congratulations, Christmas will come early for you!

Winners will be notified in early January and must purchase their bottle by February 2 or risk forfeiting the ability to purchase.

You can also enter for the chance to buy a bottle of Buffalo Trace Antique Collection using the online or in-store application.

Pappy Van Winkle costs anywhere between $50- $250 a bottle, depending on its age.
