OK QB apologizes for being cocky at OSU

Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is trying to make good after a cocky display at Ohio State.

After Oklahoma bested Ohio State, Mayfield charged around the field waving the OU flag. He and his teammates congregated midfield at the big Block “O” where Mayfield thrusted the flag into the ground.

He apologized and explained that he didn’t mean any disrespect. He added that he wouldn’t have wanted anyone to act that way on his home turf.
