Franklin University consumes Urbana to create branch campus

There is now a second place to receive a Franklin University education. The Columbus college has consumed Urbana University west of Columbus to become a branch campus of Franklin. It’ll still be called “Urbana University” but it is now under Franklin’s accreditation.

In 2014, Franklin University Acquired Urbana and its assets after they were faced with serious financial woes. This shift will allow Urbana to offer new academic programs and sports.
