New Four String lager to steal hearts of Bud Light lovers

For those of you who just can’t stomach hops or stouts but want to give the illusion of hipster-iness, Four String’s new Hilltop Lager has your lame back.

The can is super craft but the taste and price are super Bud Light. The ingredients to make this plain ol’ domestic-style beer are less expensive so they were able to charge an uncharacteristically low price for a craft brew at $7.99 for six 16-ounce cans.

Four String won’t make as much on this beer as others but they’re hoping to make up for that in volume of beers sold. They’re on their way too, with 1,000 cases of Hilltop Lager sold last week.

So when you find yourself cringing at the thought of one more drop of hopped-up, fancy-ass beer, reach for a Hilltop Ale.
