Wendy’s to go on a people diet

Wendy’s is planning to shave off a few pounds in the next two years– $35 million in expenses to be exactly. They’ll be executing layoffs at the Dublin headquarters in order to achieve this. There are currently about 600 people employed at the Dublin office.

Layoffs are expected to begin in the second half of this year and wrap up in 2019. Quite the slow burn.

There are tons of other changes going on within the company including wage increases, technological advances, and remodeling many of its current restaurants.
