Columbus Car Thefts Double

We’re only a month into the new year and and auto thefts have already doubled in the last two month and tripled in the last three months.

There were 101 cases of auto theft in January, 51 cases in December, and 34 cases in November, according to Fox28.

Always make sure your car is securely locked, and in cases where drivers want to warm up their cars before heading on their commute, it is recommended the driver remain in the car while it warms to prevent theft.
