Data from the U.S. Census released today reveals that Columbus’ population surpassed that of Indianapolis’ making us the 14th largest city in America. We always knew we were better than them but now we know that more people want to be here than in Indy.

Columbus welcomed in 9,984 more people from 2015 to 2016, propelling the population from 850,106 to 860,090. Indianapolis reported 855,164 residents in 2016. And per usual, C-bus is Ohio’s largest city ahead of Cleveland and Cincinnati (385,809 and 298,800 respectively).

This data also reveals that Columbus is the second biggest city in the Midwest only after Chi-Town.
