The incidents occurred between November 2015 and May 2016 — prosecutors say he picked up three different women and then paid them for sex.

Mayhew is the third in a series of unrelated investigations into the CPD looking into alleged solicitation of prostitutes.

In late 2015 Mayhew surrenders his badge and gun as the investigation moved forward. He’d been on “desk duty” since then.
