Crayola is feeling blue, vote on the next color name
Aw, Crayola is feeling the blues. They need your help bringing them out of their funk.
Here’s the dilemma: Scientists at Oregon State University discovered this brilliant blue hue during an experiment Crayola got their paws on it and want to develop a new crayon color but they don’t know what to name it.
After 90,000 nationwide submissions, they’ve narrowed it down to five:
- Dreams Come Blue
- Bluetiful
- Blue Moon Bliss
- Reach for the Stars
- Star Spangled Blue
Pretty serious situation, huh? There’s a lot riding on what word they print on the crayon paper wrapping. It’s all up to you to decide.
The new color will be the envy of every kid in third grade who doesn’t have a 64 box of Crayola crayons (with the sharpener in the back) so please vote wisely.
