Dead body found in vacant property

Workers were cleaning out a vacant property in Linden when they discovered a dead body. The victim appears to have been shot.

The workers noticed blood in a property in 1500 block of Aberdeen Avenue. They followed the trail that lead to the body of a 26-year-old black male. Authorities know the identity of the victim but have not yet released his name.

Police continue to investigate.
