Three people injured in suspicious explosion on northeast side

Authorities are investing an explosion yesterday that left three people injured. It happened at a condominium complex on the northeast side in the 5800 block of Edge of Village. Two adults and one juvenile suffered minor injuries in the explosion.

Columbia Gas checked into the situation in case the blast was caused by natural gas but found that the lines were operating safely. They will continue to search all neighborhood lines just to be sure nothing is malfunctioning.

In the meantime, the complex has been entirely evacuated.
