I-71 High Speed Chase Ends with Rolling Crash

If you experience some inconvenience at the Hudson I-71S on-ramp/exit it was likely due to a high speed chase and crash involving a suspected burglar and police.

Investigators report that they attempted to pull over a man suspected for burglary, the man fled and the officers chased.

It wasn’t until the CPD pulled out the stop sticks on Weber ramp to I-71 that things got harrowing.

The van’s tires ran over the sticks, puncturing them — the driver then lost control after trying to enter onto the interstate, plowing through a fence and rolling onto the highway.

The driver was taken to the hospital but the Police have not released information on his condition.
