Local startup is here to end “shoulder nipples”

Few things are more annoying during your morning routine than discovering the shirt you want to wear has “shoulder nipples.” You may have never heard this term but we’ve all experienced them—they are the small bump in the shoulders of your shirts caused by hangers.

One local startup has made it their mission to end “shoulder nipples” along with the many other woes of classic hangers.

Justin Kershaw of Reynoldsburg saw a need for a new hanger when he found himself throwing his HOMAGE shirts on the floor to avoid stretching out their necks.

Enter Hanga (Hong-uh).

They look a lot like regular hangers except for their “patent-pending bend” that allows users to hang and easily access shirts without stretching out their necks and eliminating the dreaded aforementioned shoulder nips.

Check it out below.

These cool new hangers are Ohio-made with galvanized spring steel built to last forever. Sustainability is a big deal for Hanga.

In the past week, Hanga’s met their Kickstarted goal but they aren’t immediately ready for purchase.

Keep an eye on their website for updates.
