The city wants to hear your opinions on Short North developers

About a month ago, a consultant hired by the city found that tax incentives for Short North developers are far too generous. We imagine this news upset some of you.

Columbus imaged this also which is why they scheduled public meetings to discuss the consultant’s findings. Now, you have somewhere to direct your angry opinions other than your cat, Steve (he’s getting real sick of hearing about how stupid five-story mixed use developments are).

You’ve got options here:

  • August 24 from 5-6:30pm at Barack Community Center, 580 E. Woodrow Ave
  • August 28 from 5-6:30pm at Tuttle Community Center, 240 W. Oakland Ave
  • September 13 from 5-6:30pm at Glenwood Community Center, 1888 Fairmont Ave
  • September 20 from 5-6:30pm at Milo-Grogan Community Center, 862 E. 2nd Ave

Councilwoman Elizabeth Brown and development Director Steve Schoeny will be present to explain the consultant’s findings, reports The Dispatch.
