Robert Mason Co. closing by end of May

Robert Mason Co., a popular accessories and stationery store located in the Short North, will be closing by the end of may. The closing comes after a string of financial troubles related to a fire which took place in 2014 in the original location on Gay Street. The new location on Brickel Street has reportedly been doing well, but not well enough to dig the company out of financial trouble. The website, robertmason.com, will be closing as well.

Robert Grimmett, the founder of Robert Mason Co., related in a social media post that a store wide sale is in effect until the shop closes for good. “We want to say to all of you an enormous thank you for all of your love and support! Both online and in-store will have a store wide sale! Things are selling fast so order now!”
