Columbus is well-known for our grandiose craft beer options and we are here to help spread awareness about our craft sandwich spread. Especially the ones on wheels. Mobile kitchens are trendier, more experimental, and quickly produce food of an almost overwhelming variety. We certainly can’t name them all, but for your consideration, here are a few front-runners who deserve recognition for tantalizing our taste buds:

• Put it in Your Face Sandwich Cart
Find the cart

When comfort food cuisinier Rob McClaskey decided to stop being a tour chef for big names like T-Swift, and The Eagles, he came home to Columbus and started something fresh. Tex Mex Face Off- pork layered with cheddar jack cheese, corn salsa, veggies, and cilantro.

• Queen’s Table
Find the fish

Elvin Cooper watched with curiosity as his old friend taught him how to cook fried fish. Wrapping it up in a bun and adding some toppings, Cooper headed off to barber shops, beauty salons, and festivals where he sold the creations to hungry customers. The fish boat- a monstrous sandwich stacked high on a soft bun with fresh fried fish, juicy tomatoes, onions, and crisp lettuce.

• Street Thyme
Alex Emrich knew the classic cheeseburger needed some zest if he wanted to bring something truly colorful to the capital city. Irish Breakfast- two beef patties, sharp cheddar cheese, grilled tomatoes, thick cut bacon, a fried egg, and jalapeño jelly.
