Clintonville’s Pocket Produce sows last seed

Clintonville’s quick and fresh food stop for health-conscious folks around town has shuttered.

After only two years, Pocket Produce at 3496 N. High St. is permanently closed.

“It has been a tremendous honor to have had the opportunity to serve you,” wrote Moishe and Natalie Appelbaum on Facebook. “We have made the decision that it is necessary for us to take time to focus on family.”

Pocked Produce is known for their grab-and-go, layered salad bowls packed with protein-rich, nutrition-dense ingredients.

The Applebaum’s specify in the Facebook post that “this location” of Pocket Produce is closed which leaves us wondering… Could there be another in the future?

Stay tuned.
