“No one’s business” why Worthington restaurant closed

A restaurant in Worthington abruptly bit the dust recently.

Harold’s American Grille at 671 High St. put a sign on their door to indicate their closing.

“As of January 1, 2018, Harold’s American Grille has closed,” the sign said, per This Week News. “It has come time for us to devote more time to our family. We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to our guests. Your past support and patronage has been greatly appreciated.”

According to This Week News, the owners, Harold and Melanie Baker, were not interested in disclosing exactly what lead to the decision citing “personal reasons” that were “no one’s business.”

Their website along with their social media accounts look to have been deactivated. Gift cards can be refunded by mail.

But the Baker’s aren’t without other business ventures. Harold also owns Baker & Associates Architects Inc. which shared a building with Harold’s.
