Blowout Bar’s hair, business keeps getting bigger

The chances for TV-ready hair in the Short North just got a whole lot higher. The Blowout Bar just signed a 10-year lease at 941 North High Street next to Northstar Cafe. The salon is set to open this spring.

Sisters Kristin DeJohn and Kailen Echeverry brought the blow-dry salon experience to Grandview in 2013 and then Dublin in 2014.

“We’ve had our hearts set on the Short North for years. We were just waiting for the perfect location,” said Echeverry. “We look forward to bringing our concept to the Short North and joining one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Columbus.”

The Blowout Bar is working with Wood Companies to make the expansion into Short North possible.
